I finally managed to get a few photos of recent'ish crocs that have been added to my collection. If all goes well, I will keep listing them on here as I get them.
Of course I have a few years of backlog to sort too...

Irishman recovering after croc attack - from eircom.net
16th June, 2008
An Irishman is recovering in hospital after being attacked by a crocodile in Mexico at the weekend.
Sean Treacy (23) was swimming in Nichupte lagoon near the coastal city of Cancun when the crocodile attacked him.
Mr Treacy, who was in Mexico to attend a wedding, received injuries to his upper arm in the attack and also suffered a punctured lung.
The Department of Foreign Affairs said it had not been asked to provide assistance.
Despite the prevalence of crocodiles in the 5,000-hectare Nichupte lagoon, it remains a popular draw for tourists and is frequently used for boating excursions and jet-ski jungle tours.

That'll teach them!
An elderly man in Queensland (Australia) had owned a large property for several years. He had a dam in one of the lower paddocks where he had planted mango and avocado trees.
The dam had been fixed up for swimming when it was built and he also had some picnic tables placed there in the shade of the fruit trees.
One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the dam to look it over, as he hadn't been there for a while. He grabbed a ten litre bucket to bring back some fruit.
As he neared the dam, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee. As he came closer he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny-dipping in his dam.
He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end. One of the women shouted to him, "We're not coming out until you leave!"
The old man frowned and responded by saying, "I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim or make you get out of the dam naked."
Holding the bucket up he said, "I'm here to feed the crocodile."
Moral: Old men may walk more slowly, but they can still think fast.

Croc gets shark for dinner
May 23, 2008
DARWIN, Australia, May 23 (UPI) -- An Australian fisherman watched in amazement -- and snapped pictures -- as a saltwater crocodile ate shark for dinner.
Paul van Bruggen told the Northern Territory News that he and his companions heard splashing and saw a shark's tail emerge from the Daly River, followed by a crocodile's head. He said that the crocodile appeared to realize that the shark would be helpless on land.
"How smart is the crocodile? It if was you or me it would be dragging you in to drown you but it takes the shark up on dry land,'' he said.
Van Bruggen had gone to the Daly River last Friday for the Barra Classic fishing competition. He said that the crocodile ignored him and his companions even though they were only about 50 feet away.
The saltwater crocodile, affectionately known in Australia as the "saltie," is the world's largest living reptile with males known to reach lengths of 20 feet. Its range includes northern Australia, New Guinea, Southeast Asia and parts of India.

Alligator humour
A young blonde was on vacation in the depths of Louisiana. She wanted a pair of genuine alligator shoes but was very reluctant to pay the high prices the local shoe-shops were asking.
After becoming very frustrated with the "no haggle" attitude of one of the store-keepers, the blonde shouted, "Maybe I'll just go out and catch my own alligator so I can get a pair of shoes at a reasonable price!"
The shopkeeper said, "By all means, be my guest. Maybe you'll be lucky and catch yourself a big one!"
Determined, the blonde turned and headed for the swamps, set on catching herself an alligator.
Later in the day, the shopkeeper is driving home, when he spots the young woman standing waist deep in the water, shotgun in hand. Just then, he sees a huge nine foot long alligator swimming towards her.
She takes aim, kills the creature and with a great deal of effort hauls it on to the swamp bank. Lying nearby were several more of the dead creatures.
The shopkeeper watches in amazement. Just then the blonde flips the alligator on its back, and shouts out, "Damn it, this one isn't wearing any shoes either!!!"
